1000 Trades
We’re an independent free house with an unwavering focus on local and regional drinks you won’t find anywhere else
A Birmingham favourite all year round – cosy winter evenings, blissed summer days with our French doors.
We like to think that craft in all its forms lives on in the building as it is now…
We’re excited to have signed up Dan Lee, winner of Masterchef 2021, as our executive head chef. Dan has many strings to his bow beyond his signature pan-Asian offerings, and is hard at work developing a seasonal menu to showcase the best aspects of proper pub food with a touch of class.
You can get married there. The setting really is delightful and includes the walled ‘Shakespeare Garden’ out back. And we/Dan are doing the food for it. Should be good right?
We’re working hard with all those contractors, seamstresses and interior people and we hope to be opening our doors sometime in April. See you there?

Here's our handy cut-out-and-keep guide to what you can expect at 1000 Trades?

- BBQs to sizzle the summer days

- More of a café feel during the daytimes. Locally-made cakes and other delights.
- More friendly for children, families and their moms/dads (at least during the day)
- You can get married there and it won’t be illegal
- It's a park silly
The same

- 11 natural wines on tap

- We remain dog friendly
